The vast majority of those who have heard of coaching but also many of those who have benefited from coaching services do not know what coaching is (2022 Global Consumer Awareness Study). Coaching is (ICF definition)
“Partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.”
The topics, objections, and legitimate questions of many potential customers revolve around the following:
How can someone help me who doesn’t even give me advice?
How do I know that partnering with you will help me in any way?
I need solutions now, not to change my mental game first and then wait for my inspiration to come;
I repeat, coaching is not for everyone, everytime, everything. It is a method, a profession and a job that solves certain things and not others. When properly matched, it produces results, that is, when:
the beneficiary believes in such a partnership;
the beneficiary believes in the method itself;
the beneficiary believes in the coaching provider;
the beneficiary believes that change is in him, not outside him.
In today’s article, I will list all the scientific studies I have found on the Internet about the effectiveness of leadership coaching, in the hope that potential beneficiaries will strengthen their faith in the method.
